DJO 2.20Beta bug report

Hi there

DJO 2.20 looks great, but one annoying bug found:

Hardware Samsung Galaxy S2 LTED HD (Andriod 2.3.6)

1. Mess up address after sync with outlook 2010 (CompanionLink 5 B5030)

- It will duplicate the City and State in the address field.

2. The new soft button (the 3 dots behide the + button) Search doesn't work.

Other bug (not only DJO 2.20, all version has this problem)

I assigned 4 custom field map to Outlook Custom field 1 to 4 respectively, and I renamed them in DJO as field name, it will always lose the name and override by Outlook field name (that's Custom 1, 2, 3 4)

BTW, I never can make the Wifi sync and DejaConnect USB sync work, Never!

I wish you can fix it soon.

Sync iPad and iPhone between each other

I currently sync my iPad and iPhone to my PC (Outlook 2010). So far, so good ..... it's seemless. I use two different profiles in CompanionLink Pro 5.0 (one is called iPad and one is iPhone). I will be going away on a business conference. Is it possible to sync the two mobile devices between each other? In other words ...... while away from the PC, can I sync my iPhone and iPad together (I'll then sync to my PC and Outlook upon my return).

Task Alarms

I just realized this morning that DejaTasks does not handle Outllok alarms.
Opps .....realized this when I forgot a meeting.
Anyway ...............
Any plans to add this in the future?

I am using Companion Link 5.0 Professional
Build 5030 in conjunction with Outlook 2010 and both my iPad and iPhone

2.2.0 beta - DO contact app - how to use it?

Hallo,

can anybody explain, how to use the new contact app?

-Added new "DejaOffice" Android contacts account, records are read only in Android but are linked to the DJO where you can edit them (Android OS 2.0 req)

Mileage / odometer recorder

I have a need to record overall business vs personal use mileage/kilometers on a daily basis.

Either a new app or add the ability into the expenses app would work for me. A seperate report for mileage/km would be required.

DejaCalndar Display issue on Droid Incredible2 DejaOffice 2.1.9.

We have a user who is reporting an issue with the DejaCalendar Day view on a Droid Incredible2.
No matter how he sets his Day view settings, the DejaCalendar Day view only renders the 7AM to 2PM time slots.
The user must scroll to view the later portions of his day.

Is anyone else experiencing this?

We are unable to reproduce this behavior in our lab.

Outlook Distribution lists not syncing in Deja Office via USB

I am using Companionlink for Outlook to Android and syncing is working well except for one thing I think it should do. I have a couple of distribution lists in Outlook that contain at most 15 contacts. These are not appearing in DejaOffice when I do a sync.
I send frequent emails to each group and if there was the ability to have a contact group that I could call up in one key press to send email to multiple addresses under that contact group that would be good.
Please let me know if this is currently possible, and I just do not know how to do this.

Date of birth changes between DejaContact and Contacts iPhone

Almost all the dates of birth of my contacts change (1 day earlier) in my iPhone contacts and Calender vs Act! and DejaContacts (both are correct).

Where is the problem ? What is the solution ?

Calendar SubFolders from Outlook

Hi,
I have checked off subfolders to sync from Outlook into DejaOffice but I don't see my internet calendar (which shows up in Outlook) on my iPad.
Am I wrong in thinking it should also show up somehow?

Sync takes a while

My sync seems to take quite long.
How long does it usually take?
I have:
3358 Contacts
685 Calendar items
283 Tasks
180 Notes

I also have "Optimized update sync" checked off under options.

Contact fields comparison across software and services

Hi guys!

This is a question to everyone, and not really about DJO, but related. Has anyone come across smth like a comparison table of contact fields of Outlook 2010, DejaOffice for Android, Android 4.0, Google Contacts (cloud)? Basically I want to see which fields one does have and another one does not, and how they can be mapped and synced. I want to decide on the best desktop program <-> device <-> cloud solution, and make sure I always fill only those contact fields which exist and sync in all three. I use Outlook 2010 and Android phone now. It's a pain even with CompanionLink. I know I can just switch entirely to Android/Google, but even there within Google not all fields correspond and sync!!! Or I'm even thinking of switching to iPhone-Mac, but the only thing I want is that all of my devices and cloud have all my fields in perfect sync.

Anyway, if anyone seen such a table on the internet, I would appreciate yopur pointing me there.

Private Records partially Displayed Issue

In DJO1.3.2, when "Hide Records" is selected in Private Records Settings, the first two lines of records (contacts / memo / task) is still visible although password is needed to view the complete record. It would be a nice improvement in new release of DJO if the private records are completely invisible when "Hide Records" is selected. At least that is how "hide" works in Palm Desktop. Thanks.

FEATURE - CLIENT link to tasks and appointments

When a client calls usually the first thing you do is bring their details up
then .. you want to know what history there is ...

It would be great if when you hit a client with a link to TASK or APPOINTMENT there is an icon that lists all the entries in date order ... from the CLIENT screen .

FEATURE- convert or LINK TASK to Appointment

I often have a TASK that needs to be linked to an appointment .

I often have people leave messages which may involve details about some issue I write in notes and I log all this into my TASKtocall : when speaking later with them I eaither will make an appointment or register CALL as something I have to do.As it is originally a TASK I want to move/copy all this while talking to an appointment (task--> appointment calendar ) or another TASK ( TASK ---> task )
e.g : ( say my TOcall category to --> service category in say to complete in 2 weeks )
... but I still want to register that I spoke to that person on the day registered as reference

DAY1 - MEssage on my desk ... CALL bob re fixing his printer --> enter into TASK (DATE:day1 , category TO CALL)
DAY1 - CALL bob - he tells me its a dx65 printer and needs it fixed by 4 weeks and drop it in 2 days time --> COPY TASK into ( DATE to complete 4 weeks , category SERVICE)

... timme passes 2 weeks

DAY 14 : I enter into last TASK completed/date and enter details about charges and fault .
I call bob to say its fixed , we arrange a time day 16 to meet .
I log into DEJA and copy convert TASK to an appointment leaving a copy in TASKS but appointment copies info or [LINKS] to the task above .

I realise you have a CLIENT LINK to task or schedule. but SCHEDULE and TASKS cannot be linked .
Logically you see the scedule and bring it up ..
It wil lsay Bob is LINKED but it wont show a link to the TASKS.

Any info how to do this would be great

DJO 2.1.9 (264) - Calendar List-view only goes out 2 months??

Hey all...

I hadn't seen this before, but now when I scroll down in the Calendar List view, it gets to 2 months from the current date, then stops. No "Getting more calendar data" or anything - it just stops.

I have events on the Calendar going out for many more months than that (as well as repeating events), but it just stops 2 months out.

Is this by design? Seems kinda weak.
