View Full Version : DejaNotes won't start

When I try to start DejaNotes I get the message "The application DejaOffice (process com.companionlink.clusbsync) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again." I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling to no avail. Contacts, calendar and tasks work ok.

This may be due to data corruption. Try a purge and reload of your notes using CompanionLink (the "Purge and Reload Notes" option in the CompanionLink settings). This clears the DejaNotes and then reloads them from your PC database, and it might clear the corruption.

I think the data files got messed up when I used asterisks in front of category names. On my palm I would do that to bring categories to the top of the sort order. Working good now without asterisks.

This is really good to know, thanks! We'll do some testing using asterisks in the category names to see if we can get this worked out.
