View Full Version : Feature needed for recurring entries

When you are deleting a recurring item, the choices are:
THIS INSTANCE / ALL INSTANCES / FUTURE INSTANCES / CANCEL.

If you hit the wrong choice there is no going back - it's deleted unless you hit cancel.

I would like to suggest that there be a chance to regret the choice made
by adding the following:
Are you sure you want to delete (this, all or future) instance(s)?

This is how Deja handles regular deletions. Why should recurring entries be different?

I've deleted the wrong choice a few times and the above fix would have saved me.

Thanks

BTW, when deleting recurring tasks, there's no choice to delete just the current instance ... :-(

This is not correct. Outlook brings up a dialog "there a future ... would you like to delete all future tasks or just the current one" (my translation from German to English ... ;-)

BTW, may I point your attention to this thread, too: http://www.dejaoffice.com/forums/showthread.php?4063-b881-and-885-Alarm-for-recurring-tasks-is-not-set-correctly-on-complete&p=18711&viewfull=1#post18711
