View Full Version : Problems after new Windows 10 update (1803)

Just finished the update (long process!). Now Companion Link won't run - it says Trial Expired. I've tried compatibility mode for Win8, and running as administrator. So far it hasn't helped. I did submit the request to verify my license, and have requested a keycode which I may not get by email until tomorrow.

I initially turned off almost all permissions in Windows settings, so I don't know if that's a factor. They mostly involved the camera, microphone, etc interacting with other apps.

I guess my first question is - has anyone else had problems with CL after the big Windows update?

Panic is over - I had shut down the computer while we were out for a while. After restart, CLO is functional again and synced successfully. Whew! You don't appreciate how much you rely on something like your electronic calendar/everything until it doesn't do what you need it to do!
