When creating a new task I have 'due date' set to default to 'today', that works fine.
If I create a new task shortly before midnight I noticed it defaults the alarm date (when you ticket alarm to on) to the next day.
(I suspect it wants to default it to the next hour after current time)
Usually when I create a task this late I modify due-date to set it to another day. That also moves the alarm date, as it should be the alarm DATE is then set for the date one day AFTER the due date. Likely because the original alarm was set to 'day after due date' 'cos the original due-date was today.. if that makes sense?
Ideally a default alarm-date shouldn't go to a different date, ever. Not sure if that's ok for all users, but it would certainly help me
Steps to recreate problem;
1. Task Options, Set 'due date' to default to 'today'
When time is 23:05- 23:55
2. Create new task, any name (do not change due date yet)
3. Set alarm on it, this will initially set alarm date to tomorrow
4. Realize the date of task is wrong and change due date to correct date
You now have a task for day X with a alarm for date X+1, which isn't expected.
I realize now that changing the due-date *before* setting an alarm would also prevent my issue. It's just that I never expect an alarm to be scheduled for another date then a task, hence I never check for that. I just set the time and be done with it.
