    Hi,
I have updated DJO to v1.11.2 via android market, but very bad surprise : tasks, calendar, contacts and notes views have one advertising line on the bottom of the screen !
Is is a french cultural exception coming with android market dowload, or a bad joke ?

    Device: HTC Desire/Bravo, Android : Froyo 2.2
    CL: 4.0 4033, DJO: 1.11.2, Sync: WiFi
PC : Windows XP Pro SP3, Outlook 2002
    No Android Calendar Sync,
Android Contacts and Contact group categories enable with Google account
Online Google account : contacts, calendar, tasks and notes empty, neither synced, no sync

    Hi Everyone,

You can very easily disable the ads from the settings in DejaOffice. The steps are noted below:

If you would no longer like to see ads in DejaOffice you can easily turn them off. Here's how.

    1. Open DejaOffice
    2. Go to Settings then General Settings
    3. Uncheck Enable Advertising

    I hope this information helps.

    FAIL.
ANY advertising on a paid software product- even if opt out- is wrong, wrong, wrong! It is usually the first inevitabe step towards a "subsidized" model where opt-out will not be an option and a user has the "opportunity" to pay more to not have ads. I shouldn't need instructions to turn them off- they shouldn't be there in the first place!

Amen! Take it out! Honestly, who do you think would knowingly want to have the ads option turned on?

I must agree with theemptysky - I think the presence of advertising banners in an application we all paid for is extremely inappropriate, regardless of any ability to turn it off in the Options menu. When I downloaded the latest update yesterday and first saw the ad, I will admit that I was outraged but did locate the menu option to disable it a few minutes later. However, that is not the point - the ads simply should not be part of a fully licensed application.

You pay for a product and then get superfluous ads about unnessesary junk on your phone. Even the time spent to switch it off in the settings is a wast.

    Big mistake in my view.
What is the point if everyone just turns them off.
The default should be OFF and only select ON if you want them. Like we're going to do that!
My phone shouldn't be using an inkling of resources on this bad taste "feature".
I'll be watching this closely as once the rot sets in it's difficult to eradicate.
