    Help- Outlook sync

    I just purchased CL and am trying to synch Outlook 2003 to a Samsung Galaxy S (2.2.1). DJO and Android contacts were both empty after a previous incomplete sync. I have many contacts necessary for my business- ~7500.

    My settings:

    CL 4.0 build 4034
    DJO 1.10.9
    Auto sync Google off
    Sync to Android contacts ON
    Sync to Android calendar OFF

    The sync was to reread from PC.

    Many things occurred after the 20 min sync:

    In DJO Contacts:
    Check Balance, Check Minutes, Check Text usage all had addresses added from other contacts

    Many contacts were missing. I could not determine actual number. Just spot checks.

    DJO Calendar:

    Many calendar items were not copied from Outlook to DJO.

    Should I purge and reload? How do I get all of my contacts into the phone?

    Unfortunately, there is no confirmation of changes during a sync. This is available on the blackberry desktop manager and helps determine causes of changes. It is disappointing that it is so hard to replicate the functionality of my blackberry.

    Hi Townsend,

    Sorry to hear you are having sync issues. My first piece of advice would be to update Companionlink build 4034 has known sync issues and we fixed that in build 4036.

    There is alos a new version of DejaOffice in the Android Market.
    Try updating bith and then execute a re-read.
    If that doesn't work a purge n reload may be necessary.
    I would try these steps in order.
    What sync method are you using?
