Bug: All-day event alarm time - current day shown in edit screen

    Hallo,

whenever I open an all-day event (one day or multiple days) in calendar, the correct alarm time (day & time) is shown (eg 28.9.2013 14:00).

But when I click on "edit", the alarm checkbox is checked and the time beside shows the current day (eg 3.7.2013 but the correct time 14:00).

addition: When I click on "back" button ("cancel") the correct day is still shown ...

    Can anybody confirm this behaviour?

    Exclamation

    Belinda,

this bug seems to be fixed in current beta. BUT it (or a different bug) still exists regarding recurring all-day events.

Create event on 2013-8-8 (I'll use ISO date format to avoid misunderstanding), series every 2 weeks, alarm 2013-8-6T12:00 (BTW, why is not the conventional alarm setting available like 1 day, 12 hours, etc???)

    Save

    Result:Alarm 2013-8-7T2:00 !!!

Edit (alarm is shown as for 2013-8-6T12:00), Remove the series, DO NOTHING ELSE but save: alarm is ok at 2013-8-6T12:00.

Edit, set series as before, DO NOTHING ELSE but save: alarm is at 2013-8-7T2:00.

Please fix ASAP! And make the "convential" way to set alarm (x min/hours/day) available, please!

(Please note: this behavior occurs with all-day-events only! I you set a specific time, everything [even alarm time span - 1h/1d/..] is ok.)

    Michael -

We see the problem & we've sent it to our developer to be fixed.

Not surprising since that was released the same day Belinda said she was sending the problem to the developer.
Sadly, I can no longer use CL or DJO as I have replaced Outlook with Thunderbird and Pimlical Desktop. Pimlical, since moving to Java 8 is no longer compatible with Companion Link. I will lurk about just because I am interested. Please let me know if the Pimlical compatibility problem ever changes and thanks to all here for your support and help over the years. This is the best software for synching Outlook to Android.

Not sure if this is related or not, but I just discovered today in 2.5.2 that if I try to set an all day, repeating event with an alarm there is what appears to be an 8 hour offset in the time the alarm is schedule for. An example would be a task I tried to create today, which was set as a recurring event every Tuesday and Friday of the week, with an alarm set for 7:30am for every instance. When I saved the alarm, then tapped the event to view it I noticed the alarm was set for set for 3:30pm of the same day. Adjusting the target alarm time (i.e., 12pm or 2pm) always resulted in the alarm being saved for 8 hours later. I confirmed that my phone is set to automatically receive and use timezone information from the carrier (Verizon), and that the system date/time is correct. This seems to be a new bug in recent releases since I have created many events such as this one and never had the scheduled alarm time be incorrect.

I am running 2.5.2 on a Droid RAZR with Jelly Bean installed on the Verizon network.

I have also started seeing the problem that BamBam is experiencing. Only my offset is 7 hours.
