Ah, yes--having a notification instead of a popup will be a significant improvement!

Unfortunately, also soon the entire alarm system is going to be folded into the notification system. I'm looking forward to an end of the "popup" and just having a notification for it.
I'm mainly interested in an system, I can rely on (again). The GUI is not as important as that an alarm is really been shown to the user ....

So may I ask once more, when the reported bug will be fixed?

Good point! Some folks will be used to and/or prefer the current popup. Perhaps the way to go would be to have a setting to enable popups, and for new users it would default to being off. Everyone would get the new Notifications, and then anyone who prefers popups (the current approach) would be able to enable those as well. What do you think Michael?

    That's it!

... But at first the function of the alarm system should be ensured ...

Will a notification be able to manage "snooze" or "delete" options as pop-ups do?

If not, there should be another option to take you from notification to pop-up.

Notification is good for integration with Android system AND for keeping screen off, that's why I'd like to use it, but I would like to keep the pop-up flexibility.

Not yet. Other things got in the way. I think we're headed to a full DJOA release next week, and alarms after that.

I'm having similar problems om my Samsung Galaxy S3. Also I confirm the alarm system has been buggy as long as I use DJO. I varied by versions, sometimes ok for a while. Right now it is not reliable, making me miss appointments.
I really hope the new version will be out SOON.
