Some Calendar items (via Enterprise Outlook) not appearing in DO

Some of my calendar entries that are entered in Outlook are not appearing in DO. But some are.

Has anyone experienced something similar? Hoping there's a fix.

Am using a Enterprise server. Droid Razr M 4.1.2.

    Thanks!

Jared, so if I get your post you are doing this:

    1. Enter Calendar in Outlook
    2. Sync to Exchange
    3. On Phone gathering Native Calendar from exchange
    4. On Phone, using DejaOffice to read from Native Calendar

Is this right? In this case, Exchange and Native Calendar are handling the sync, rather than CompanionLink. In this case you will see problems with certain recurring patterns, because they don't exist on the Android side.

Are the missing appointments one of the following:
    1. An Exception to a recurring event (Instance)
    2. A recurring pattern like "The Last Tuesday" that doesn't exist in the Android Calendar?
    3. Another type of recurring instance that you are not able to enter on an Android.

I might suggest changing the sync, and using CompanionLink to move your data. This eliminates "translation" problems with Android Native Calendar since we are Outlook specialists.

My apologies, I should have been more succinct in my explanation.

I'm not using the Android Calendar at all.

My Droid is set up to hit my company's Exchange server.

I am receiving meeting invitations in Outlook (work PC) -- it appears that this only happens
    with single instance events.

They appear in my Outlook Calendar.

*Some* work calendar entries appear in my DejaOffice calendar, but many do not appear
in my DejaOffice Calendar. (it looks like recurring events appear, but single instance ones
    do not.)

The question is, what app are you using to "hit your company's Exchange Server," where are those items being stored (likely the Android Calendar database) and how are you moving those items to Deja Office (DJOCTO was asking if you were having DJO read the Android Calendar data base)? It doesn't matter whether you use the Android Calendar App, many apps use the Android Calendar database.
Sadly, I can no longer use CL or DJO as I have replaced Outlook with Thunderbird and Pimlical Desktop. Pimlical, since moving to Java 8 is no longer compatible with Companion Link. I will lurk about just because I am interested. Please let me know if the Pimlical compatibility problem ever changes and thanks to all here for your support and help over the years. This is the best software for synching Outlook to Android.

I'm using the email app on my Android to hit the Exchange server @ work. I'm afraid I don't know where those items are being stored, as the only
calendar I use on my Android is the DejaCalendar.

Jared, Is it the case that the missing items are recurring events and/or exceptions to recurring events?

Are any single item events missing?

Are any simple recurrings, like Birthdays missing?

It appears as though the missing events are single items only.

I see recurring events. Don't have any birthdays entered in my work Outlook....so no data points to check.

    Thanks!

Hmmm, not sure what is up with that. Do the items show in Android Calendar? Just not DejaCalendar?

Single items should always sync. If they are on the native Calendar (From Exchange) they should be in DejaCalendar.

Sorry for the delay. Yes, they are on the Native Calendar. Just not in DejaCalendar. Is there a setting someplace that I can check
to make sure DJO is syncing from the right place/places?

Jared can I have you send in a log file.

    1. Go to DejaOffice Settings "Logging and Support"
    2. Check the box for "Start Logging"
    3. Go to Sync Settings
    4. Be sure Sync with Android Calendar App is set
    5. Be sure the right "Calendar Account" is set
    6. Go to the main menu and run a sync
    7. Go back to Logging and Support - and Send log to "support@dejaoffice.com". Please include the text "Forum post jared" so we can track back the issue (it is a different team that does the incoming emails.)

We should be able to get to the bottom of it.
