Ok! I surrender! I posted an action item to make a setting for default minimum duration. I anticipate this will be in the next release. So when you update to 1.3.1 next beta look for a DejaCalendar setting for "Event Day view Display Size".

Could you say more about this? I'm not clear on what this means.

Most of my appointments don't have end times. Is that a requirement for DejaOffice...or will they just default to 15-minute appointments (that are currently unreadable)?

Judy, whenever you create an appointment in DJO, an end time is *automatically* created based on the default duration you have set. It sounds like your default duration is set to be 15 minutes. You can change the default duration in Calendar Settings.

Mine is set at 1 hour, so that's not the issue apparently.

Can we get an update on when this issue of unreadable 15 minute appointments will be fixed?

The latest 3.1.1 (580) Beta seems to have fixed most problems for me and I can clearly read my 15 minute appointments again. In calendar settings, I changed the Day view event height to 30 minutes. But you must rebuild the calendar display for the setting to take effect. It would be nice if the user could be automatically prompted to rebuild the calendar display upon changing that setting.

This is by far the most functional version of DJO to date!!!

Yes, with 3.1.1 (580) Beta this is very good. I use the "default" setting for the 15 minute appointments and I'm able to read the text, so this version works for me.
    Thanks to the developer team!

I also found the default setting ("automatic") to be very good unless you have two or more 15 minute appointments next to each other then they become very small and unreadable again. I chose the "30-minute" default height which allows more appointments to be readable for me. I'm glad we have different options to try and play with on this version!

As I continue to play with the new display options, I would still like to see an option added that would double the current height of every appointment so that 15-minute appointments could be the height 30-minute appointments appear as now. I do understand that some people would not want this to be the default setting because more scrolling would be needed to see the day's appointments. That is why I would want it added as a user selectable option. It could be called Double Appointment Height (increases readability of appointments with short durations).

    Thoughts on this?
