    Definitely on the phone. I.e. your partner's calendar will be stored "offline" on your phone.

    Calendars are not very large. For most people, about 300k for the full calendar. So having five calendars would still not be more than 2mb. It's contacts, with picture and notes, that need more space.

    Somehow we'll have a view that will overlay the calendars. Maybe we can use some transparent settings and have it be like a "watermark" on your calendar.

    The display speed will be impacted. Good things new phones are faster at processing.
