    Date format

The only date formats in DejaOffice seem to be North American. Can I do it the way most of the rest of the world does it, namely dd/mm/year. Or is that not possible?

    Thanks and cheers.

    Hi

What language setting are you using?

DejaOffice uses language setting to determine time format etc. If you change language to English (United Kingdom) you should get the European time format.

    Hope this helps.

Thank you Cecil. However, every option that I can find to select language does not include English in the list, let alone choosing US vs Great Britain. Just about every other language is there and the default is English.

I only set it up today, so no doubt I have missed something.

    Cheers,

Sorry Cecil. But I have found it and swapped to GB English.

    Thanks for your help.

Glad to have been able to help.

There is a bit of a steep learning curve to get started.

The Classroom on the website does need a bit of an update as there are a number of new options since it was written.

Any other queries, there will someone here to give suggestions and help, so don't be afraid to ask again.

    Great job guys!

On Android, we found that the internal date system was inconsistent (thank you fragmentation). So we cannot depend on it.

So we tied date format to language.

For European stye dates, use UK English, which also gives you "Synch" and "Colour".

Other dates are tied to the language format for the dates.

There is one exception; you may choose ISO dates (a special option) to get YYYY-MM-DD which is the convention in South Africa.
