Now takes 2 taps to complete a task, how to fix this?

I've got the latest version of DJOA running on my stock unrooted Nexus 5. In the recent past I could tap the Complete box of a Task and the checkmark would appear. Now it takes 2 taps: I tap on the box and then I have to tap "Complete" on a pop up window.

How can I set it so it only takes one tap to mark a Task as Complete? I looked thru the Settings but didn't find anything.

Let me know if you need to see a screenshot of this problem.

    Thanks,

    Hi

Can you tell us which build you are using.

Go into Settings and tap on "About DejaOffice "

"Latest version" can be a bit confusing as depending on your experience level there several versions available : Google Play, DejaOffice betas and inhouse builds.

I am using latest inhouse build 725 and don't see your problem on my Nexus 7.

OK, Here's a screenshot of the problem. This popup windows appears after I press the Complete box on a Task. It looks like I'm using 3.2.8, build 719 dated 27Mar15. Is this the latest? If not, how do I get the latest?

Any suggestions how to fix this? Thanks,

    Hi

Beta Versions when available can be downloaded from here: -

    http://www.dejaoffice.com/androidapp/

    Inhouse builds from here: -

    http://www.dejaoffice.com/androidapp/inhouse/

These downloads are outside Google Play. You need to change your security settings to enable installation from these sites.

Of course by definition these builds are not as fully tested as full releases, there are risks in using these versions especially the inhouse ones.

I would expect that there will be a new beta release soon.

    Hope this helps.

    Hello Cecil,

Thanks for your reply. I'm careful with security so I avoid sideloading.

Question for the DJOA Developers: Will a near future version of DJOA fix this problem? Thanks,

    I understand your caution.

I was originally given the link to inhouse builds by one the support team. My virus checker reports inhouse builds as suspicious as it does not come from Google Play.

I always reset the security settings after the installation.

Just downloaded 3.2.9 (726) as inhouse build. This has full release notes which suggests it will be on Google Play very soon.

Hi Cecil, Thanks for the info. I'll keep an eye on the Play Store for the next build.

Question for DJOA Developers: Will the next version of DJAO fix this problem? Thanks,

Cecil and m3110w, this is the new action for the completion. The problem we have solved is that on some phones the edge tap zone was not clear for tapping completion or category. For now, this is the new behavior. See what you think of it.

Ahhh, so this is a case of "Its not a bug, its a feature!"

The old behaviour is definitely preferred by me. Any way to make the old behavior an option? I would love that. Tapping twice rather than once to complete a task is somewhat annoying. The new behavior could be the default with a setting available to select to the old behavior if desired. Thanks for considering this request.

I continue to be a big fan of DJOA and I recommend it to people.

    Cheers,
