    DejaTasks Attachments

What is the maximum size for task attachments syncing with the Cloud? I tried a photo and it didn't work. I tried a text file and it worked.

I actually don't know this, and the person who does is away until Wednesday.

What is the size of the picture?

I checked with the Android developer and there is no limit there or on the PC. However, DejaCloud may be applying a limit.

The picture was 1.4 MB. But, the photos that I take with the phone are about 5 MB. I would like to be able to sync those if possible.

Yes. 16MB. So a 5MB picture should work fine.

But, my pictures don't sync. There is something blocking the sync somewhere. I'll try attaching different size files and see what the limit is.

I just did a test with varying picture sizes. 2.14MB did not work, but 1.90MB worked. So it appears that 2MB is the limit. Can you fix this so that 16MB works like you said?

    Thanks.

Found several other problems with Task attachments.
When I add an attachment and take a portrait photo, DJO rotates the photo 90 degrees left. It shouldn't. Landscape is OK.
In DJO, when I attach a large jpg (5mb) from the gallery, it gets corrupted. It displays a black image with a broken icon.

    Can these be fixed?

    Thanks

We'll check those out. There was a fix made in the inhouse beta. Sometimes pictures would not sync for new records, but would for existing records. This is now fixed.

We'll be looking into the issues Eagle 3 reported today. I expect we will do a store update next week (May 3 or so) with all these changes.
