    DJO freezing with version 4.3.4

    DJO has frozen a number of times since the new version was installed. This often happens when I am entering a new meeting in the calendar. I have to close DJO. When it restarts, the meeting I was entering is there. Sometimes if I restart DJO too quickly after closing it, it freezes before fully opening. I am using a Samsung Galaxy S5 and Android 6.0.1.

    You are not alone - I've been having the same problem for at least 2 weeks.

    It may or may not be a factor that you and I both have a Galaxy S5.

    FWIW, I do not yet have the Windows Creator update, but that shouldn't affect the behavior of DJO on the phone.

    We have had a few reports. We should get a new build out on Monday for this.

    The programmer has posted an update. See if this stops the freezing:

    This will be fully released on Monday.

    If this does not work, please try removing any Widgets you have on the home screen. The programmer says the following:

    After we save a record, we run a Cloud sync if Cloud Push Sync is enabled, and we update the widgets if the user has any enabled. I added extra error checking for the widget logic to also try and help, incase it is the widgets that are crashing. The logs I've seen do not show a crash, but do show saving the record, so it could be a background task (such as the widget) is crashing, and not the main app.

    I don't think I have any widgets on the home screen - just a regular icon for the program. Or is that a widget? Will try the update tomorrow - still having intermittent freezing doing various edits or additions to Calendar and Tasks.
    Also, I don't sync to the cloud.

    The update has been released, and at least a couple people have reported this fixed the locking up problem.

    First attempt at creating appointment and the app seems much more responsive.

    I hate to jinx myself by saying this, but the freezing/locking seems to have stopped

    All reports are that our latest release did indeed fix the issue.

    Our thinking is that it had something to do with Widgets; i.e. if you have a desktop widget then there may have been freezing. But it looks to be resolved now.
