Upgraded phone, how do I sync data to new phone?

I upgraded my phone from a Galaxy S6 to a Galaxy Note 8 - is there a way to sync the data to the new phone directly?

    Hello swensong,

Welcome to the forum. It is easy to import your data from your old Android device to the new one. Once Dejaoffice is installed on your new device refer to the steps below.

-Please connect your old phone to the PC via USB and use Windows Explorer to navigate to your phone's internal storage and copy the Clusb folder to your computer. This is your Android DejaOffice database.
-Now connect your new device to your PC and use Windows Explorer to navigate to your phone's storage. Drag the Clusb folder from your computer into your phone's internal memory, allowing it to overwrite the existing Clusb folder in the phone.

Now when you open DejaOffice on your new Android device, you will have all of your previous data. Keep in mind that this will overwrite any existing DejaOffice data on your new Android device.

If the goal is to actually sync between two Android devices, then you would need to sync between them via DejaCloud.

comptuter, copying the file copies all the settings and categories. It copies the ringtone settings, but ringtones are files on the phone, and so without the files being in the exact same spot, you'll probably need to reset those.

I've also upgraded my phone, a Galaxy S7 from Galaxy S4 mini (yeah, it's been awhile). I also want to just move my DejaOffice data over to my new phone. I've done the procedure just as Chris L suggested earlier, but it's not working for me. Any other suggestions I can try?

    Thanks in advance...

When you plug your new device into the PC and you view the phone's internal memory via the PC File Explorer, do you see an existing clusb folder?

    Leaf-Peeper,

That's the folder you need to copy from your other phone.

    1. Completely Exit DejaOffice by hitting the main menu - Exit Icon.
    2. Copy /clusb from your old phone to your new phone.
    3. Run DejaOffice

This should show all your data.

For further help on this email support@dejaoffice.com.
