    Cecil,

Also double check your Notifications\Sound in the Android Settings.

    1. Open the Android Settings
    2. Find Sound and Vibration
    3. Tap Volume and ensure Notifications\System\Ringtone are all set to a good level.

If so, go back to the main Android Settings.

    1. Find Notifications on the list
    2. Scroll down the app list and select DejaOffice.
    3. Tap Calendar Alarm

Ensure Importance is set to High:Make Sound and at the bottom make sure Do No Disturb is not turned on.

    Hi Thomas

I think nomenclature is a little different on my phone. In "Settings" from there I go to "Sound" and the options there are: Media Volume, Alarm volume and Ring Volume are all at maximum.

I have also checked Notifications as above.

The notification does sound but it is so quiet that you can only hear if the phone is by my ear.

My phone was totally silent Cecil. The notification icon appeared but no sound accompanied it.

If the uninstall/reinstall/reboot process didn't work for you, I'm afraid I don't know what to suggest.

Maybe you should raise a support request if no-one else here is able to assist. I have always found the DJO support to be first class.

    Regards,
    John

    Thanks John

May think about raising a support ticket. I think I have tried everything I can think of.

My experience with the support team at DJO has always been very good.

Following a suggestion from DJO support I deleted the CLUSB file and deleted DJO. I reinstalled DJO then after setting up the sync on the phone and did a one way sync from my PC.

After that I restarted my phone and now the sound level of the notification is back to normal.

I did notice that the DejaTask notification was at normal level before these steps. It seems like something was hanging around in the CLUSB and affecting the Calendar notification.

Thanks again to support for their help.

Excellent, glad to hear you are back on track. This was likely a result of the OS 8.0 change, Android completely changed their notification system. Do let us know if there are any other issues.
