Feature request: Conflict management for sync process

Regarding Sync Android with Outlook: Is a "conflict warning" possible, when an element (eg appointment) has been changed on both sides? The setting "latest changes are kept" is nearly what I want, but Outlook changes elements sometimes itself on startup (eg when an alarm comes up) and then all changes made on the phone are lost.

It would be nice to have a dialog, where all elements are listed which have been changed on both sides with all fields showing *which are not equal*. The user should have the choice, which element should be used on both sides.

    I second that.
I remember having this years ago on a sync software for Palm and for Psion.
Google Pixel, Android 10 German, DJO 4.4.32 (1221)
Office: Win10 x64, Outlook 365 (v2020, up to date) German, CL Express 7062 --- Local WiFi sync --- manual syncing, daily
Home: Win10 x64, Outlook 365 (v2020, up to date) German, CL Express 7062 --- Local WiFi sync --- manual syncing, occasionally
Syncing to native Android contacts (DJO account), not syncing to native Android calendar

      MG111 and McLion,

Great suggestion. There is an inquiry to the Dev team for evaluation on this feature. I don't have a time frame for an answer just yet. I will post here when I do.

          *bump* *bump*

          A window like this:

          Items changes on both sides

          1.) Meet Thomas, **16**/7/2013 <--> Meet Thomas, **17**/7/2013
-> Choice KEEP PC data / Android Data / Delete both

          2.)

          3.)

          ...

          Items on PC/Android only
          1.) Meet Michael, 16/7/2013, ...
-> Choice DELETE on other side/SYNC to other side

          2.)

          3.)

One window/tab in a window per category contacts/calendar/tasks/notes would be useful, I think. Differences should be presented in a separate column and highlighted.

CL should make its suggestions. The user can change it (choices above)
and then there should be a button "confirm all", to run the sync and "cancel" to stop everything to view data in PIM/DO if the user want's to.

Eg see at the old SW "intellisync", which had this feature. Here are some quite old screenshots:

Seconded here! Just saw that today. I'd like to see a window that could be opened to see what was deleted so I could decide which were deleted in error. Specifically I say this because Companionlink is duplicating and deleting randomly these days. Until I figure out why, I need to be vigilant on what's deleted.

                Drew,

Maybe this is interesting for you, too:

                  Shame on you CompanionLink.

It’s a shame that CompanionLink doesn’t address this problem.
The above is a very clear, well written suggestion/solution for a real problem, a very serious problem, but CompanionLink doesn’t give a shit about it.
This behavior, this kind of negligence is unacceptable, very unprofessional and unethical.

I have written a similarly well detailed feature request/suggestion about conflict management that involves a compare window / differences window (displaying data collision) to let the user resolve any issues that could potentially lead to data loss or corruption.
CompanionLink hasn’t even replied, not even acknowledged that it has received my email.

Comparison / differences window for conflict resolution - data collision warning

                      I describe my idea here:
