Hallo!
I want to sync my android (X10, A 2.3.3, DO 1.12.8) with two PCs (Outlook 2003). Because Outlook creates calendar elements, when contacts with birthday and/or anniversary dates set are created, I usually have double elements. On the second PC the calendar elements for birthdays are created during sync of contacts AND ONCE MORE during sync of calendar.
So I thought, the solution for this problem will be a special field mapping like this
BIRTHDAY = User Field 1
or
BIRTHDAY = No Mapping
But CL (5014) seems to ignore these settings. No matter what I set, the birthday of the contact will always be set in Outlook to the date set in android. The same happens for ANNIVERSARY.
Does CL really ignore these settings? Any change to have only those both fields not synced?
