I am thinking of upgrading to CompanionLink Professional but wanted to verify that it will work with the scenario below:-

I understand from the documentation that CompanionLink utilises the Category functionality to differentiate between multiple source Outlook folders.

My requirement is to synchronise 2 Outlook contact folders using the Category Manager functionality but to only sync 1 Outlook calendar and retain the capability to utilise Outlook categories to differentiate activity types.

Is it still possible to have a hybrid set-up in this manner?

Yes. Each "conduit" can be handled separately so what you set up for Contacts can be different than for Calendar.

Yay for that. It will be a massive help in integrating my Android devices with Outlook and Business Contact Manager. Will be putting through an upgrade very soon.
