Unable to connect to bluetooth device. Verify bluetooth is turned on.

I've been receiving this error for a long time and finally decided to seek help. It usually shows up when I try to initiate the sync from my PC. The workaround is to initiate the sync from my phone and then quickly hit cancel. Then the sync can be successfully initiate from my PC. If I initiate the sync from my phone and let it run all the way through, it takes MUCH longer to complete and often ends in duplicate contacts. Sometimes it will try to delete all of my synced data. This is very weird behavior! When I can successfully initiate the sync from my PC, the syncing process is near flawless.

Has anyone experienced this behavior? Have any suggestions to rectify this?

P.S. Yes, bluetooth is active on both devices.

No, but we have found unrelated behavior that is not expected with Bluetooth. I talked to the programmer about it.

Cool. Have any solutions been discovered?

The Bluetooth is active on both devices, but are they actually paired? I assume you don't have the option of Wifi? I only use BT for keyboards and mice, so I don't know a lot about how different syncing is from using BT to connect peripherals, that I try not to use it for anything I don't have to.

            Sorry, not much help.

Thanks for responding. Yes, both devices are actively pair via Bluetooth. After initiating the sync on the device, cancelling it, and then initiating the sync via the PC, everything "usually" syncs well. I choose syncing via BT because I travel a lot and often need to sync on the road. Wifi syncing is hard to accomplish in hotels.
