What conditions would create the bug that was fixed in Build 9028?

    Build 9028 has this note:
    Fixes in companionlink.exe 6/15/2020 Build 9028.
Fixed issue Monthly and Yearly recurring events syncing to an incorrect date in Outlook.

What specific cases would cause this to occur? I would like to find out if my syncing using the prior build would have caused this to happen. Are there detailed notes for releases that say what triggers bugs that were fixed?

    Tim,

This issue would only occur for Monthly by day\date and Yearly by day\date recurring events that were synced into Outlook (IE from DejaOffice, Google or another database. This issue would not occur if the events were created within Outlook. The bug was introduced in the beta release, but was only released in b9026 for a week - the number of people who might see this issue is limited.

There are not currently any pages that describe what would trigger bugs we fix, just the release notes that note the fix.

Thanks for explaining, Thomas! I don't think I was likely effected, in that case.

Funny, I thought I replied to this post already, but I guess I didn't. :-/
