PC outlook to droid only user / re-alarm issues

Just got this set up yesterday and I was thinking how it looked like it would work, that I could use a droid instead of a windows phone. I must sync with my outlook for my work stuff. So I don't have a data plan and am set up to only sync from outlook on PC to my droid (Deja Office via CompanionLink). I've been seeing the following behaviors...

    1. Alarms failing - Yesterday an alarm to catch a shuttle bus to a flight to another state failed. Luckily I didn't trust it. It alarmed on the PC but the phone was just acting dead.

    2. Dismissed alarms realarming. This morning an alarm went off at it's 15 min pre-warning. I pushed button "Dismiss alarm" and screen cleared and phone realarmed again. I tried "Snooze alarm" then it said something like "application Deja Calendar (in Deja Office) not responding" and it asked if I wanted to shut it down or wait, had to reboot it after a few tries.

    3. A new alarm went off at it's 15 min pre-warning. I dismissed it and it immediately realarmed again as before. I had to put my phone into silent mode to keep from disturbing my office neighbors.

Sorry but so far not so good. Is there some remedy for this malady? Thanks in advance for any help.

I can sync and I already am syncing with USB. The problem is the alarms not going off sometimes, or if they do, can't clear the alarm without power cycling.

My 9AM alarm was going off when I woke up at 2:45AM (silent mode thankfully) LOL this app is useless. I guess if I can't find resolution I'll go back to my good old windows phone that never had any sync or calendar issues and makes me get to my meetings on time &c. Just less fun apps that's the only difference for me.

In DejaOffice, go to Settings/Sync Settings - Is "Sync with Android Calendar app" selected? When you are seeing the alarm pop up twice, are they both DejaOffice alarms, or is one of them the regular Android calendar alarm and one of them a DejaOffice alarm?

Hi Jason. I started without that checked, but then tried it with it selected. Alarm didn't pop up twice, it popped up as many times as I dismissed it. I guess youc an call that infinite times and pretty sure it was the deja alarm. So I have already uninstalled it. I would try it again but using a android phone without a data plan is in itself a trial for me to see if it would work. Understand that I just need a camera phone with contacts & calendar with alarm that doesn't make mistakes. I had that with my T-mobile dash (with a slight tweek) so I am assuming the windows phones are able to sync to outlook without calendar bugs, and other phones just aren't there yet.

I also am a hw/sw engineer and if your team decides to work on an an android app that makes it look like a windows phone to windows WDMC / ActiveSync then I would be happy to contribute some time toward that... although I'd have to ramp up on the dev kit & architecture. I think a product like that would be very appealing, I can't imagine I'm the only one who would like to sync to outlook without a data plan, but would like to explore the diversity of android apps. But I have this android phone on loan just to test it so I must return it now.

          Thanks for your time!
