Deja Office is in some kind of split screen on my MyTouch 4G, Android Version 2.2.1

    Hi,

I just installed DejaOffice from The Market and have sync'ed my MyTouch 4G with CompanionLink as I use Microsoft Outlook on my laptop. Everything (re calendar, contacts, tasks, and notes) appear to have sync'ed properly. I've even got the data sync'ed to Android's native contact database and calendar and have turned off sync to google so as not to recieve duplicates.

The problem is that some time last night my deja calendar, contacts, tasks, and notes screens on my MyTouch have acquired a split screen. I can scroll each side of the screen independently. This might be good as an option, however I can not resize the screen or eliminate it. I can not really use DejaOffice this way.

I've tried several things includeing hard reset, removing the battery, and uninstalling/reinstalling DejaOffice. The split screen will not go away. I have not deleted the data on my memory card, yet but this is the only other thing I can think of.

Please help. I like the application and don't want to have to start looking for another one.

    Thanks,

    Dan

    Hi Dan,

Just turn off "tablet mode" under your general settings. Sounds like this got turned on somehow.

      Kaena,

Thank you so much. I remember playing with that setting now that you mention it. You just saved me from my next attempt which was to purge my memory card and start from scratch. I figured a setting was stored somewhere on the phone and that was the last place to look.

      Thanks again,

      Dan
