Global Search is not working on my Android 2.2.1 MyTouch 4G

Accordling to the Deja Office tips and tricks page: "DejaOffice give you the ability to search your Contacts, Calendar, Tasks and Notes with one search query.

From the Home Screen (or many other screens within DejaOffice), press the Search button. The search bar appears at the top of the screen.

Once you enter your query, tap the magnifying glass. You are now presented with the search results.

Results are filtered by type (contacts, calendar, tasks and notes). Select from the drop-down menu which data type to search, and results will instantly appear."

I've looked for the search button but it does not appear on my DejaOffice Home Screen.

Can anyone tell me how to make this work?

The search button is actually a physical hardware button on some Android models - it's not an onscreen icon. If you have a device that does not have a search button, you can press and hold the menu key from the DejaOffice home screen. This should bring up the search dialog with an onscreen keyboard.
