Can't sync since last update

I plug in the sync cable and Droid says Connecting USB for Charge Only. When I hit sync, I get a message that says you need to select charge only as the usb connection type. I have un- and re-selected charge only, reset cables, etc.

Hi dbvirago - Sometimes the sd card can get into a state where it's inaccessible for some reason. I'm not really sure what causes it. In my experience, power cycling the device usually fixes the problem, so you might give that a try.

Thanks. I did a restart. Took half a dozen tries after that, but it finally synced. Problem is made worse by the fact that sometimes you get a visual cue on the PC that a sync is taking place and sometimes you don't. Which means you have to sit and wait to see if a synch complete dialog pops up, or you finally give up and start over.
