Syncing with Android Contacts creates multiple copies of Same Contact

When I sync DejaOffice with the Android contacts it creates multiples copies (2 to 4) of most contacts. I'm using a Droid X with version 2.2.2 OS. I have 865 contacts that turns into just under 3000.

    Hello bcoolbizz,

I am guessing here but it sounds like you have configured DejaOffice to Sync with the Native Android Contacts and the account you selected is still syncing with Google.
[AB42512] When you set up your Android, it automatically sets your Android Contacts and Android Calendar to synchronize to
Google. Here is how to turn it off:

    1. Open Settings. Select "Accounts", "Accounts & Sync", or "Data Synchronization"
    2. Select the Google account (if available)
    3. Uncheck Contacts and/or Calendar

I would then do a Purge and Reload form CompanionLink.
