DJO 1.11.7 Automatically roll over overdue tasks: DejaToday does not trigger rollover

Hello, DJO is one of my favorite and most used apps on my Droid X.

I was a requester of the new feature "Automatically roll over overdue tasks" and was happy when you folks implemented.

There's two small design issues (I won't call them bugs) I've noticed regarding overdue task rollover.

    1. Launching the DejaToday shortcut DOES NOT trigger overdue task rollover.
Overdue tasks remain overdue. "Automatically roll over overdue tasks" is selected. Launching a DejaTasks shortcut DOES trigger overdue task rollover. Once the overdue tasks rollover, then a later launch of a DejaToday shortcut shows the new dates.

    2. "Automatically roll over overdue tasks" does not rollover overdue tasks with recurrence.

I'd like overdue task rollover implemented for both DejaToday and recurring tasks.

    Thanks !

Hi Thomas, Just checking in to see how this is coming along. In the interim, I created an automated workaround. I use Tasker Component Intent to launch TaskListActivity @ 12:01AM then exit.

        Hello DroidGirl,

I am working reproducing this. Question for you...
What version of DejaOffice is installed?
Have you tried deleting the shortcut and creating a new one though the Setup Wizard?
We changed some code in 1.12.0 _ 1.12.1.
Not specific to the shortcut, but I am wondering if anything has changed or if you have tried the Beta SW yet.
Does deleting the shortcut and creating a new one

          Hi Thomas,
          1. Installed version is the latest one available from Android Market : July 27, 2011 1.11.9.
          2. Deleting existing shortcut and creating new shortcut does not resolve the issue.
          3. I've tested BETA app versions in the past but do not have the time for it presently.

Thanks for the response and good luck with your recreate.

OK Sounds great. I only recommend the beta if a fix is in place for something someone needs.
            I feel ya.

Hi Thomas. Just a quick update. Updated to 1.12.3,deleted DejaToday shortcut. And the problem of this forum post still exists. DejaToday shortcut does not initiate task rollover. On a new day, only opening DejaTasks initiates task rollover. But as I mentioned earlier in this post, I have an automated workaround.

                Hello Droidgirl,

We have added the, Rollover Overdue Tasks, menu option to the DejaToday application in the current in-house testing build of DejaOffice. I will update you when this feature is included a general release build of DejaOffice.
                -Correction
Working on getting this added to the in-house build. Will advise when this occurs.
