Feature request. In Today view show meetings for today only

    Hi.

    Just a little FR.

In Today view DjO now shows all meetings that are
    1. Started and not ended.
    2. Will start in 24 hours. (even not today meetings).

And I find not very useful for me personal that tomorrow meetings. I wish to see option "show meetings only for today", nothing more.

Can this be implemented? Today is my most used view, and this is only option I miss.

    DejaOffice v2.5.1
    CompanionLink build 5070

    Hi Mar00k,

I agree with your idea and have put in a feature request for this.

May I extend this for a setting to choose: Make is adjustable to select what time frame to show with a drop down setting with:
      - Today only
      - 1 day ahead
      - 2 days ahead
      - ...
      - 1 week ahead
Google Pixel, Android 10 German, DJO 4.4.32 (1221)
Office: Win10 x64, Outlook 365 (v2020, up to date) German, CL Express 7062 --- Local WiFi sync --- manual syncing, daily
Home: Win10 x64, Outlook 365 (v2020, up to date) German, CL Express 7062 --- Local WiFi sync --- manual syncing, occasionally
Syncing to native Android contacts (DJO account), not syncing to native Android calendar

        Hello McLion,

I like the idea, let me try to find a good way to implement this. In my world (my own crazy mind!) of device SW development the function should match closely the name of the app or the feature. AKA DejaToday = Today.
What you are describing is a bit of a stretch in my mind for "DejaToday". But still a good idea and a useful feature. I will think about this and try to come up with something.

        Thanks

          I agree with McLion!

I know this feature from my palm treo and it was very useful.
And I would like to add something as well.

With the tasks setting in DejaToday I would like to be able to choose the tasks that are overdue nd the tasks that are due today are shown.
Now I only can choose today or overdue.
Those tasks that are overdue still need to be finished so the reminder would be great. (also a Palm treo feature)
HTC Desire HD, Android 2.3.5., CL Pro 5 (build 5074), DJO 2.5.5 Palmdesktop V 4.1.4, Windows XP Pro SP3,
Synchronising Wifi, Synchronising calendar, contacts, tasks and memos.
Only synchronised DJO contacts with native contacts once with 'read android data'.

Nexus 7, Android 4.3, not yet installed DJO

            Hello Lexie,

There is a feature to automatically roll over overdue tasks. I think this addresses a portion of what you are requesting now.

How does that work? And is it usable with recurring tasks?
              I only have recurring tasks.

Recurring tasks show the next iteration after you have marked the current task completed.
Follow these steps to turn on Auto Rollover past due tasks:
                1. Open DejaOffice and tap Settings.
                2. Tap DejaTask Settings
                3. Check the Automatically roll over overdue tasks box.

You can also Manually Roll Over Overdue tasks by:
                1. Open DejaTasks
                2. Tap the Android Menu Button and tap Settings.
                3. Tap Roll Over Overdue.
This will do a one time Roll Over of all overdue tasks to the current date.

                I hope this helps.

Those two ways do nothing in my tasks.

But if in task you tapp the menu button you can manually one-by-one rollover tasks and that works.

Would be better if the automatically roll over due would work or the onetime roll over of all overdue.
I did exactly as you stated above.

We have had some reports of this not working on certain devices. A bug fix is the works. If it doesn't work for you it will soon.

Yeah, but after that DJO emptied again.
I will update the other thread, since it doesn't belong in this one.

It is now 15.10 here and they aren't displayed in the DejaToday widget anymore.
This morning they were displayed there.
They don't have a set time.

Is there a way to change the settings to do that?

By default no due date is entered in a new task when created in DejaOffice.

Sorry, I was still occupied with the other problem I have. Therefore was absolutely not coherent.

                            What I meant is:

When the due date of task A is today, I want to see it displayed the whole day in the DejaToday widget.

I did look on my Dejatoday at 15.10 and didn't see the tasks that were due today anymore. And I didn't complete them.
So I still needed thec reminder that I have to do them today.

Instead task B that is due for tomorrow was already displayed.
