DejaCalendar will only display Day View on Android OS

    Hi,
Downloaded DejaOffice and CalendarLink. When I press any of the icons at bottom of DejaCalendar on the mobile with Android OS, v2.3.4 (Gingerbread), it only prompts Add / Show Completed / Go to Date / Font Size / Settings. It won't let me see my appointments any other way except Day View.

Is there incompatibility with Android OS and DejaOffice 1.12.2?

    Thanks
    Catherine

    Hello Catherine,

The behavior you are reporting is a bit perplexing. DejaOffis is not designed to work with CalendarLink, it is designed to work with CompanionLink. I am wondering if this was a typo?
DejaOffice is compatible with Android 2.3.4, however as new devices are released, sometimes we have to make specific programming changes to be fully compatible.

If I am hearing you correctly you see this behavior. (Please follow my steps exactly.)

    1. Open DejaOffice on your Android phone using the Main DejaOffice icon that loaded when you installed the app.
    2. Tap DejaCalendar from the menu of available apps in the suite of software that opens.
    3. Once in DejaCalendar tap the The Week View icon at the bottom of the screen. (What happens?)
    4. Tap the Month View icon at the bottom of the screen. (What happens)
    5. Tap the Year view icon at the bottom of the screen. (What happens.)

A couple of questions for you.
What Android device model are you using?
Is Tablet mode turned on? (From the Main DejaOffice screen tap the Settings icon>Genral Settings>Tablet mode should be set to Never unless you have a large screen/Tablet Android Device.)

The behavior you are reporting is expected if you tap the DejaCalendar Header Bar at the top of the application, or if you tap the physical Android Menu button at the bottom of your device.
Tapping the actual icon on the screen for Week or Month view should navigate you to that view in DejaCalendar.

Please let me know if you have any questions on the instructions, or anything new to report.

    I hope this information helps.
