Can I sync Android with Outlook on multiple PCs?

    G'day,

In the past I was able to use my PocketPC smartphone to sync my Outlook 2003 contacts, notes, tasks and calendars between my work and home PCs.

Today I have three PCs running Windows 7 with Outlook 2010 installed (home 64-bit, work 64-bit and netbook 32-bit). Plus I now have a new Samsung Galaxy Note smartphone running Android 2.3.5.

So I try to use Samsung Kies to copy my home Outlook stuff to the Android. Mostly this works, but it only gets 40% of the way through when trying to sync the calendar.

I then used Samsung Kies to copy the information from the Android smartphone to Outlook on my new work PC. What's on the Android syncs over, but contact category information is lost. So not all calendar and no categories equals big fail.

So I go hunting for a better solution and find DejaOffice.

The DejaOffice web site shows me how I can sync the Outlook information on a PC to multiple Android devices using DejaOffice for Android together with either CompanionLink for Outlook or CompanionLink Pro.

It doesn't show me if I can use DejaOffice for Android and CompanionLink (Std or Pro) to seamlessly sync my Outlook info (contacts, notes, calendar, tasks) across three PCs via my Android device. So, can I actually do this, and if so, what do I actually need on each device?

    Best Regards, Lloyd Borrett.

    Hello Loyd,

    Thank you for posting.
The configuration you are using is slighly beyond the capacity of CompanionLink and DejaOffice at the moment.

However, a work around I could suggest is this:
Configure 1 PC to "Sync Both Ways".
On the other 2 PC's, Configure CompanionLink to sync Android to Outlook.

This configuration has it's limitations, but it is the only configuration I can advise to keep your data clean.
