    Unable to Sync

I am no longer able to sync my phone to Outlook. I initiate Sync in DejaOffice; it brings up CompanionLink on my PC but nothing further happens. It worked fine before I downloaded the latest versions of Companion Link and DejaOffice.

    Here's information on my equipment/software:
    DejaOffice Version 1.12.7
Companion Link 5.0 for Outlook Build 5010
Samsung Fascinate with Gingerbread (Baseband version: S:i500.04 V.EH03)
    Outlook 2007
I'm trying to sync via USB

Let me know if you need any further information to help in the troubleshooting.

    Thanks,
    Mike

    Hello Mike,

I see that you use USB to sync.
I had a few issues with USB syncing myself (see thread; Big sync problem after updating CL and Android 2.3.3)
If it is an option for you I would advice you to try Wifi sync.
Since I use Wifi everything works fine.

    BEWARE:
With your first Wifi sync you have to do a 'wipe on android before sync' (former Purge and reload) because USB and Wifi use different ways of writing data.

    I hope this helps,

Only synchronised DJO contacts with native contacts once with 'read android data'.

Thanks for the suggestions. I discovered what went wrong. I had a drive letter conflict so I had changed the drive letter when my phone connects to the computer via USB. Apparently the sync process couldn't find the new drive letter. I then resolved the conflict by moving the drive letter for another device and restoring my phone to its original drive letter. Seems to work fine for now.

        Thanks,
        Mike
