Hi,
First, sorry if sometimes what I write is not clear but english is not my mother language. I hope that it will be understandable anyway.
Second, thank you to all people who will try to (and I hope success in) help(ing) me.
Then, here is my problem. I get a trial of CampanionLink today as I'd liked to sync my outlook 2007 agenda with my brand new phone (Samsung Galaxy SIII). My datas are not very confidential but I don't want them to go through internet so I chose to use the USB option. I downloaded and installed CompanionLink and the USB driver on my PC and DejaOffice on my phone.
No problem with the set up of CompanionLink. I selected : Android / DejaConnect USB / MS Outlook
Regarding USB driver, in the Device Manager of the Computer Management window, I can see "Android Phone\Android ADB Interface" in the left window pane as they said it should be, which makes me think that the set up was successfull.
Dejaoffice works properly on the phone. In the setup wizard, I chose the option "DejaConnect USB" and I enable USB Debugging Mode on my phone.
Everything seems to be alright but when I click "Sync". The "Sync status" window opens and nothing happens, then a popup says "Unable to find an android device. Ensure the driver is installed, the device is connected and USB Debugging is turned on".
I restarted the device, the PC, checked the debugging mode, looked for ADB interface in the list...
I also got the communication test, as they recommended but I must say that at this point, I don't see "either a numeric or an alpha-numeric serial number and to the right of that it should say device" as they indicated.
It took me hours today for no result. It drives me crazy. Is there someone who has a solution, may you give it to me please ?
Thanks a lot.
Phanie
