    Address field disappeared

I have only just realised that all the address fields have disappeared from my phone. All are still in Outlook.

Must have happened in the last week or two I guess. Only change I made was to upgrade to CL 5044 from 5026.

Any suggestions? I was hoping I had just hidden them somehow but if iI edit a record the fields are empty.

    Thanks, Paul

So, I have done a new sync with Outlook overwriting Android & it has restored everything ok.

Then did a normal sync, having reset to sync both ways, & all is still well.

I have no idea what happened & only became aware when I was out today looking up an address for a birthday card!

I was going to suggest checking field mapping, but if they came back okay, it shouldn't be that.

It was strange. I did check that & all was ok. In fact all the CL settings had remained the same. I can only asume that it really needed a full re-read after updating CL. Setting Desktop to overwrite Android certainly solved the issue anyway.

It was interesting to see that although I only set Contacts to overwrite, Calendar did a re-read as well (bit booring as i have 6,200 entries). It looks as if changing anything that needs a re-read means that all applications will be re-read, probably no bad thing.

          Paul42,
It sounds like all is well now. Let us know if you have any additional troubles with this.
