    Drag n Drop Re-prioritizing

It's been great to see the refinement of DJO. How long before we can expect to see drag and drop re-prioritizing?

I am in the boat with MrD, when is drag-n-drop reprioritizing will be available. Also could the A1, B1, C1 Franklin prioritizing be set up to drag n drop and reprioritize like planplusonline app.

                  Frustrating

Again, could DJO please implement Drag and Drop re-prioritizing?

And, BTW, it would really be nice if the Tasks display would include the Task Priority. This would seem pretty basic for a Tasks manager. Has to be an oversight.

Any member of the development team should be able to appreciate how tedious is it to re-prioritize eight tasks manually. I mean, really...

Mr. D. This has long been on our list to make task arranging work like old Palm.

However, this does not re prioritize. Do you have an example where tasks actually change priority based on position? Or are you just saying that within a Priority (High, Normal, Low) that the task be ordered ?

                      Thanks for the info.

It's been so long since I used Palm I can't remember how it worked.

I use Franklin Covey Plan Plus for Outlook desktop version 7. Plan Plus has a "Quick Prioritize" button that displays the tasks in three columns and automatically changes the priority letter (A, B or C) and number (1-9) based on the task's position in the list with the top most task in column "A" being "A1". The user may drag and drop any task to any position and the task priority will change accordingly and re-prioritize all succeeding tasks.

Tasks can also be re-prioritized on the Tasks List and this is how I envision DJO working:
Assume you have 5 "A" tasks, 5 "B" tasks and 5 "C" tasks. Grab task C3, drag it on top of task A3 then C3 becomes A3 and A3 becomes A4, A4 becomes A5 and A5 becomes A6. All the "B" tasks remain the same and C4 becomes C3 and C5 becomes C4.

I hope that's clear. If not, let me know and I'll be glad to elaborate.

                        Thanks for your interest!

That is clear, and we'll grab a copy of PPOL v7 to take a look. That looks very specific to FC priorities, and we can enable this when the FC mode is on.

Separately we have a request to simply move tasks into a set order, and we'll look at doing that also.
