    Adding contact from other app, web or SMS

    Has the issue discussed here been resolved?

    I tried to add a contact from an app and I selected the DejaOffice account. I can see the contact in native contact app showing the DejaOffice account. However, in DJO I can not find it. How and when does it show up there?

    I believe, that I read somewhere in this forum (can remember which post) that the local sync with the DJO-account is one-way only:
    DJO -> native contact app
    If you need or want a two-way sync you have to use a different account for the sync DJO <-> native app. The "Read Android data" button will then re-appear in the main menu.

    Maybe a DejaOffice expert can confirm this, as I have not found any documentation about this sync behavior.

    Regards

      The behaviour you're describing is correct AFAIK. However, this is an important limitation because the DejaOffice account is shown to add entries from other apps that do NOT get to DejaOffice. This makes no sense and is rather irritating.

          .. trying again ... can somebody from staff tell me how to do this?

          Addition: Trying to add phone number from the native SMS app to an existing contact is also not working.
