Adding a received call number to dejacontactsl

    Hi
I'm a new user of DJO and may be missing something real simple here. I have been trying to add a received call number (or text number) as a new contact. When I click the "add to contacts" option, I get taken to the search contacts feature of Deja and when I try to add from there I have to manually edit the number into a blank contact template Should the received call I'm trying to add not be automatically entered into the contact instead of my having to retype in th enew contact number?

Phone is Sony Xperia Z with android 4.2.2, using CompanionLink 6.0.0.0 build (6006) DejaOffice 2.5.7 (518)

    Hello Macnaua,

Thank you for using DejaOffice. Once DejaContacts list opens in search view, you can tap "+" to add the contact. Next create a name for the contact then tap the check mark to save it(note: the phone number field will be blank during the creation process). Once you save and reopen the contact, the phone number will be visible.

Thanks Matt, after I save the contact by tapping the check mark, when I go back and locate the new contact there is no sign of the mobile number, any suggestions?

            Hello Macnaua,

We added a new "Add Contact" button in our latest beta version(January 9th) of DejaOffice available here: http://www.dejaoffice.com/androidapp/beta/
Now when you click on a new number in your call history, DejaContacts will open in search mode and you will want to tap the Add Contact button. You will see that the new contact is now created with the number from the Android call log is populated.

Thanks Matt, I've tried this the way you describe but it doesn't pick up the phione number, it is quite frustrating having to copy down a number and then manually type it in, any suggestions?

                Hello Macnaua,

Will you please create a log of this. To do so please go to DejaOffice > Settings > logging and support and check start logging. Next go to your Android call log and tap and hold on the new number. Select Add to contacts using DejaOffice. When DejaOffice opens to list view do you see the new Add Contact button at the bottom of the page? If not then it sounds like DejaOffice wasn't updated you can grab the latest Janauary 9th version here: http://www.dejaoffice.com/androidapp/beta/
After you tap Add Contact you see the phone number from the call log pre Populated. If it is not please go back to DejaOffice > Settings > Logging and support and tap email log, email the log to Support@dejaoffice.com and put Macnaua in the subject line. Also please include in the email the name of the contact you just created.
