    Beta 3.1.1 (580)

I just love the new week view!
However, there is a bug with its Color Scheme rendering as it does not respect the "Light Background" setting.
Release notes shows (566) whereas the about shows (580).

I have noticed that the release notes are often not updated when betas are first uploaded. We end up working blind!

Well, they are betas. By definition, they are not releases. Hence no or impoverished "release" notes.

I also am having problems with the backgrounds. Not sure what is up with that.

Open Beta: We post this about once a week for people to see what we are working on. Our general rule is that if it seems stable, doesn't damage data and provides a good change from the last beta we put it up. We try to get build numbers on this one, but not always release notes: http://www.dejaoffice.com/androidapp

There is a lot to like in this new version.

Couple of niggles on my phone :

The new week grid has a black background instead of a light one. Same applies to drop down menus from the individual views.

On the alarms view in portrait view, if there is a location against the event it overwrites the description. In landscape they are both clear of each other.

Yes, that problem was introduced in a previous build but has yet to be fixed. Thankfully, this is truly the best build overall so far!

Sync had some issues for me this build. Also the 'reread from cloud' and 'reread from handheld' checkboxes are disabled in this build, had to install previous build (561) to get it synced-up correctly.

Judging by your signature, you may need to update your version of CompanionLink.

Very good beta! Everything is working for me, except the alarm notification (4.1 style) disappears from the notification area after about 15 minutes. Could it remain there until dismissed or snoozed?

The 4.1 style notification alarm icon remains in the status bar on my phone (Galaxy S3) until I dismiss, snooze or clear it. I wonder why it is disappearing for you...

Hmmm. I just updated to CompanionLink 6014 and now when it syncs, the icon will disappear for a few seconds and then display again and the alarm rings. It does this every time I sync. Maybe the older CompanionLink was causing the icon to disappear because I have the sync set to run every 15 minutes.

Nah, I need to update my signature. Updates are coming often these days, I always update when available. Am on CL 6014 now.

The mentioned checkboxes not working in DJO can't really be connected to CL anyway. I might re-test the new DJO to see if sync stays ok now. Besides that issue it worked very nicely indeed. Liking the big display of task/appointment titles and info.

Well, maybe that's not it. I just had 2 icons display in the notification area, then did a sync, and the icons disappeared during the sync and did not display again. So there is something wrong. Anyone else see this?

Eagle, any pending notifications will always disappear in a sync. The sync turns off any past-due notifications; simply to avoid the syndrome where after a sync you get 10 popups (like in Outlook).

So the assumption is that notifications are handled (Dismissed or snoozed) prior to a sync. At the time of the sync, any past-due notifications are dismissed (assumed the person saw them).
