New phone and can't sync with native calendar

I have done a search on this and got a bit of info here and there but maybe not the whole picture but all I have tried has not worked. I just got a new phone, HTC ONE M8. I previously sync'd to native calendar and thusly to google calendar so my wife could see it on her phone. Believing I would have a duplicates issue when I tried it with the new phone I deleted the google calendar (I make ALL edits in either Outlook or DO) and I deleted the native calendar. I have tried to sync the new phone but nothing, and I mean nothing shows up on the native calendar or google calendar. What are the step by step instructions assuming everything is how I want it in Outlook?

    TIA,
    LG V40 Android 9
    DJO 4.4.29 (Build 1186)
    CLO 8018 Windows 10
    Outlook 2010
    Sync: WiFi

Ok. So in Android Calendar - Check the Menu for "Display settings" and be sure your phone is set to show the DejaOffice folder.

If still having problems, give tech support a call and maybe they can help.
