Location entry suggests UK addresses but I am in Australia

I am in Australia, but when I try and enter a location in a Calendar entry, the suggested locations are in the United Kingdom.

My language setting is English (United Kingdom) but all other settings are for Australia GMT +10

Is there a way to have the location entry suggest addresses in Australia

Is every suggestion for UK addresses? I often get suggestions for USA as well as UK.

I believe that the locations suggestions are driven by Google systems and some times they do not suggest lesser known places. I think the system does learn from your input and gets better as you use it.

Usually only UK addresses. I haven't seen a local address yet

Right now for Oz you should probably turn this feature off in DejaOffice 2.5.9.

In DejaOffice 3.1, the next release, we will have an updated Location Picker that should work for Australia. It uses a different system to find localities.
