DejaToday currently has a number of 'show task' time-based settings available. However, only one has 'overdue' tasks included. Could you either
a) add more settings with overdue shown as well
b) (preferred) add 'show overdue' as extra option on/off ?
The latter would then allow me to select any time period to show tasks for and show overdue tasks as well.
For 'coming 7 days' with overdue tasks, I now am force to select 'all tasks', which is a bit much
