    Configuration questions

    Configuration questions :

    1. Can I move all the contacts and databases to the micro SD ?

    2. Where are stored the databases of contacts, calendar , etc ?

The database is stored in the folder called "clusb" in the main memory. Mine is only 20MB, I doubt it can be moved to the external card.

In my Android Applications manager, it says I can move the DejaOffice App to the SD card, but I haven't done it, its only 15MB.

Actually, you can move it to an SD Card.

Just copy the /clusb/ database to the SD Card, and then rename it /xclusb/ on your main phone memory.

When DejaOffice runs, it checks both places for the database.

Having said that, I strongly recommend against putting DejaOffice on your SD Card. The reason is that at boot time, the SD Card is not mounted. That means that depending on your Phone OS and the boot sequence, sometimes alarm notifications don't get set when the phone is booted. When they are not set, Alarms don't ring. Running DejaOffice will set the alarms, but it is annoying to have the phone reboot and get no alarms until you run DejaOffice.

as an aside, I have encrypted my SD card for security, so after boot, the decryption process takes a little while.
So I would not put any of the Deja stuff on the SD card.

also, if the SD card is not encrypted, that would make that Deja data on the SD card open if the device is lost.
I agree, for Deja, its better to not put any of it on the SD card.

Better to put other non-essential apps on the SD card, like games etc.

Try the Clean Master android App, one feature shows which apps are "rarely used" and they can be deleted.

DejaOffice is probably my most used app.

Edit: I just reused that Clean Master App, they are always updating it, it scanned and found "junk" files from apps I uninstalled ages ago, so it freed up 500MB.

well, its the one with 10 million reviews.
                    play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.cleanmaster.mguard

BUT, there seem to be some complaints now that its getting bloated?
I know the "Ram boost" is silly for android.
But I do like the function where it shows you which Apps are not being used recently, etc.

So like any App, check out the critical reviews, and decide whether or not its ok.
I think this one is ok, mainly for the App manager, and the junk-file thing, which seems to work?
