DejaCloud Push Sync

When I add, modify or delete a contact or an appointment on my phone, Outlook on my computer is almost instantly updated with those changes. However, if I change something on my computer, DejaCloud is not "automatically" being triggered to sync with my phone. Fortunately, manual syncs are working properly.

Is this normal behavior? I was under the impression that syncs occur automatically regardless of which device makes changes. I've been successfully using Bluetooth syncing for years but I figured I'd try DejaCloud to fully automate the syncing process. I am loving the speedier syncs!

SJamie, On your PC, find the tray icon for CompanionLink, right click and "Exit".

Then run CompanionLink to restore the tray icon.

Then make a change on the PC. It should go right away.

The only case I've seen where this doesn't fix it is for a lapsed subscription.

I just tried testing DejaCloud Push Sync instead of Wifi sync and I have the same problem as sjamie. When a change is made in Outlook, CompanionLink syncs to DejaCloud, but the DejaOffice on the phone does not sync with DejaCloud. So changes made in Outlook on the PC do not show up on the phone until either a change is made in DejaOffice or a manual sync is done.

Edit: For some reason, it's working now. Changes made in Outlook are showing up in DejaOffice. I haven't touched anything except added another task to Outlook.

Due to experiencing many glitches with DejaCloud PushSync, I've gone back to syncing via BlueTooth.
