I used to use DJO with USB synch and encryption, and just stopped for quite a while. Have decided I would like client phone numbers on my phone, encrypted, via Outlook, and am in a HIPAA environment.
I believe I saw a post that said USB synch won't work anymore with encryption. Is that true?
If so, if I synch over my own WiFi only, by unlocking the database, am I "reasonably" secure. Because I am a very small office, HIPAA scalability applies, so if it's "almost 100%" secure I think I can justify it.
Thanks for any help.
