    Screen rotation/keyboard on Calendar Event bug

    Hello.

    Device: Android Note 9 running Android Pie.

    Issue context: I create an event and set the event duration as 'all day', then use this event as a work log that I edit throughout my work day.

    Issue description: Rotating my phone (often unintentionally) while editing my all day event causes the app to do three things:
    1. Jumps my cursor to the top of the screen so I lose my editing place and have to scroll through my notes to find my place in my event notes again.
    2. After my cursor jumps to the top of the screen, a drop-down list of subjects related to my existing subject heading is displayed. I have to avoid touching one of these other subjects when I scroll back down, to where my cursor was originally, so I don't select an unwanted heading by accident;
    3. Changes my 'All Day' event duration to a randomly selected start time (example: 4pm, 1pm, 8am, etc.) that I must continually change back to 'all day' so that I don't have to hunt for my event somewhere in the day's hours.

    Note: These same issues occur if I turn on a Bluetooth keyboard while editing my event.

    This is such a great app, and resolving this issue would make it so much more user friendly. Ideally, the only thing that would happen when I rotate my screen, or turn on a Bluetooth keyboard, is that I'd have a wider view of what I'm editing, but I'd be happy if my existing event subject and 'all day' setting simply remained unaltered, and if I didn't loose my editing place in my event notes.

    Westy,

    Thank you for the report, it looks like changing the orientation is changing the selection from the currently selected field to the Subject line. I will send this up to our dev team for a resolution. This is likely the issue for all 3 items.

      Thanks for the quick response Thomas. It would be great if this could be resolved. Is there any way I can know that this is done?
