    Default alarm - change without using a template?

    Hi
    I have just been trying to change the default alarm that is applied to new Tasks and Calendar items. I find it frustrating that I seem to either have to change it from Default Alarm to one of my choice each time I raise a new item or alternatively set up a template solely for this purpose and then have to choose which template or none to use. Can we have a way to set the default alarm for all new items to one that applies for DJOA? In General Settings might be a good place. I don't recal this being an issue in the past.

    Hi

    Not sure if you have checked the Alarm Settings under the Settings button on the home screen. Here you can set the default alarm notification to any time you like and it should then apply to all new tasks and calendar items.

      Perhaps I didn't explain clearly enough.
      Settings - Alarm Settings - Calendar Alarm Sound and Task Alarm Sound are both set to Charming Bell
      When I enter a new Task or Calendar event, the input screen (default ie not a template of mine) always shows Alarm Tone as Default Alarm i.e. the one the phones list of tones identifies as Default Ringtone.
      I want to be able to get the entry of new tasks to use the tones set in Settings - Alarm settings. I'm sure this used to work in last version.
      Is this a bug?

        My apologies. I have used phone Application Manager to clear cache & data for DJO and it now works. I have no idea why, but sorry for raising this.

          Perhaps something did not clear properly after the update. In the past I have had to exit DJO and restart my phone to get everything working as it should. Also I have had at times had to go through the process of selecting the default alarm sound after an update because though my sound was showing as selected I had "force " the connection to register.
