Data files in phone are now in an Android/data folder

In my overly compulsive way, I backup my essential programs every morning after checking email etc (in addition to a more complete evening backup). After I've synced Palm and DJO in the morning, I've been copying the whole clusb folder from the phone to the computer, adding the current date to the name, and including the newest copy in the backup.
Recently I noticed that a lot of the files and folders in the clusb folder did not have today's date. Remembering that you had said that Android was forcing you to move the data files to the Phone/Android/data/ folders, I found the folder there called com.companionlink.clusbsync, and under it a folder named "files" which does have all the most recent files.
So, now I'm copying that folder for my backup. Given all that, is it all right to now delete the older folder from the phone? The newest files there, including companionlink.db, are dated 10/6/21.

    Marjory,

The old folder should now be inert. I wouldn't expect any issues deleting the older folder.
