Looking at a different app to replace Deja

I like Deja and all it does but I am not particularly impressed with some of the interface features. For this reason, I have been seriously looking at a replacement. Let me list the very few issues I have with Deja. First, when I bring up a contact, the name street addresses are huge while the rest of the fonts are much smaller. I know whose name I pressed, I don't need the huge font to see who I am looking at, taking up a third of the screen in some cases. The large fonts on the addresses fill way to much of the screen. I like to see all of it the same size. It is more readable and take up much less screen. Second, I have the map. I like the ability to look up the address, but I don't want to see the map. How do I get rid of it? The third issue is the arrangement of the week calendar which I have mentioned before. I do not understand why, when I have Sunday set as the starting date and all but the week calendars start on Sunday, why the week calendar has to start on Monday.

    I'm sorry for the problems.

For the font sizes, try setting the fonts for those screens to Business or Micro size. See if that works better on your phone.

For the week view, can you switch to the 7-day (horizontal week) view? The vertical view is a grid, and it is problematic to make a grid with half a day offset on one side.

Both of these issues are underscored by the huge pixel range being supported. We have some phones that are still QVGA (240x320) all the way up to Retina 1600x3200. So the way the images render differ enormously from device to device.

DJOCTO - Changing fonts helps to some extent, but the name and street addresses are still larger. Gotta believe this is coded that way and not the result of my particular phone.

Changing to horizontal week has no effect.

Don't understand why the pixel range effects these as two others I have on my phone, Pocket Informant and Pimlical do not have these issues and a third I tried and didn't like did not have these issues. Got to be coding.

I have the same issue with the font size showing a contacts addresses. The street name is huge while the City has the same size as the heading.
It looks as if always the first line after the heading for the different addresses is enlarged ... which IMHO is a coding bug .. or I don't get the intention/point of wanting that.

Ok. Obviously we've made some changes to Android 4 that are not showing right for the older versions. We'll look into this right away.
