    issues with time zones

    Hi,

It is possible to adjust settings and remove the time zones in calendar?
This way, all events will be displayed without any modifications due to the time zone in Microsft Outlook when synchronizing.
I consistently encounter problems when synchronizing calendar events between my Android device and my PC while Outlook is in a different time zone.
    Thanks for help,
    Daniel

    Daniel,

Time zones are tricky. As your PC and your Phone travel, they normally change time zone. Both Windows and Android actually record all times in GMT - so they do not shift. So data systems appear to have the effect that the times are shifted when you land in a plane, but in fact - they stayed the same an you shifted.

There are a number of settings to help compensate and make this more convenient. The most common way to handle it is for people to keep their PC on "home time" and let their phone roam to your local time. Our system automatically handles this now. But there are other settings you can use:

In DejaOffice Settings, General Settings - Time Zone Shift - you may find the 3rd or 4th option is best.

Also you can lock DejaOffice in a specific time zone using DejaOffice Settings, Calendar Settings.

Finally, we will open a ticket for you and handle this as a support issue. We need to understand your exact time zones and which appointments have a problem for you.

    Thank you for using DejaOffice.
